well, as i've read a lot today, there seems to be some kind of new form of theft going around O_o, related to blinkies and the taking of peple's stuff to make them. i decided to create a journal with my rules as well, and i will paste the link onto all my uploaded deviations as well, so that there's no confusion XD, i'll also stick it in my signature. that way i'll fill all the loop(HOLES)

MY RULES. READ THEM IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON USING "ANY" OF MY ART

first of:

No frankendolling is allowed on "any" doll, pixel or base of mine, absolutely no! If you are not familiar wih the term, Frankendolling means do not "cut" and "paste" any pieces of my work to make your own.

absolutely not taking any of my art and claiming as yours, or redistributing it on forums or journals of any kind! ><

Do not remove my copyright from my dolls to put your name on it. THEY ALL HAVE IT

do not use my dolls or bases to make your blinkies, signatures, banners, any type of graphics or any type of art where you have to use stock material. My dolls and bases and pixel art are "NOT STOCK ><". if you want to use "pixel art to make your stuff" LEARN TO MAKE YOUR OWN!

all my DOLLS are adoptable: meaning, you upload a doll to your page and "give me proper credit for owning and making it" by linking to my DA page,(here) you may adopt my dolls EXEPT requests that i've made for poeple in specific, if the doll was mae for someone it will say it on the page the doll was uploaded to, *you always must link to my page* (this does not mean that the doll you adopted is yours to do whatever you please with it)

all my BASES are absolutely and entirely editable! however, you must always link back to my page when using them wherever you post the doll you made. Do not redistribute them on your site, and even if your edit is unrecognizable, please CREDIT, CREDIT, CREDIT!

BOTTOM LINE, RESPECT MY ART AND THE EFFORT AND LONG HOURS OF DEDICATION THAT I PUT INTO MAKING IT. THIS IS NOT A FREEBE TO JUST COME AND TAKE, IT IS "MY" WORK, NOT YOURS!

IT CANNOT BE ANYMORE CLEAR o_O

wow, I never knew people were doing this- I havent heard about it! I'm sorry people have been using your dolls as stock images. this is so..weird. hopefully people will stop!

( well if they have i still don't know) i was just putting up rules, since i never did before ( i've been too lenient) because there's this "spread" on DA that there's a group of people stealing pixel art and dolls, removing the copyright and making blinkies and stuff, and also putting their names on the stuff O_o, they advised us to make new rules concerning this because the so called group is said to have been looking for "loopholes" on the rules to steal the art. ( you should do the same, you never know ><

i got the information and the saw images with proof on pyro's journal ^_^

yes, check it out! i certainly freaked out when i saw a picture of a doll there's in a link on her journal showing someone erasing the copyright of the author, then paste their own name and uploaded it to a journal! O_o

Seems like there's a mass-rules-thing going on. Updated my site with them yesterday, too. Not too good thing to do when your site's having a bithday :/

i hate strong rules, but seeing how horrible situation is i had no choice but to make this as clear as i could, i don't like drama, but at least that way they can't play the victims if they take from me XD

ohh that's true you just remodeled and moved yours

but you shouldn't worry, any serious artist will not get mad at the rules, and you don't want anyone who is not willing to respect them to even go visit, besides, you will always have your DA friends XD
